Test Confetti Falls As New Year’s Eve Bash Nears

Earlier today, members of the Times Square Alliance today conducted an “air worthiness test” of this year’s confetti.
“This is the one vent that a lot of people are watching that you can’t practice enough. So we test the equipment, we test the ball, and of course we test the confetti to make sure that it’s gonna fly down to the ground properly,

“We throw it out the window,
cards against humanity online free, and all of the confetti on New Year’s Eve is actually hand tossed. It’s not shot out of confetti cannons, or released any other way. It’s hand tossed. And there is a special technique. You can’t just throw it. You need to fluff it up and make sure it floats magically down,” added Lori Raimondo of the Times Square Alliance.
Mixed in with the confetti again this year will be peoples’ individual messages. The wishes were submitted from more than 50 countries and are currently on display at the Times Square information center,

With tourism numbers for the city at a record high, many people who spoke with NY1 say they’re hoping for a little New Year’s Eve magic.
“Well, we’ve just seen the ‘New Year’s Eve’ movie not long ago. And we are looking forward to seeing all those celebrities and maybe getting to kiss one of them,
