Really, I have no problem with the physical appearance of public figures being noticed or even ridiculed, and if I did have a problem with it, I still wouldn’t expect it to stop. It’s just awfully tiresome that these superficial judgments are applied to female politicians (and journalists, ahem) so much more frequently than to their male counterparts.

I say if Wonkette and others are going to

We’ll defer judgment on Roberts’s sense of fashion, but feel compelled to point out that he has a long way to go before he measures up to his predecessor who, after all, designed his own judicial robes.

So I guess in summary I’d disagree that only females get these sorts of discussions about them.

The whole glasses with a sweet smile thing you have going definitely fits you. interests like Microsoft and Disney it isn’t all that surprising that people focus on, well, what they can focus on. And it didn’t help that the 2003 photo they put out made her look like a large French poodle than a "pit bull in size 6 shoes".

Let’s face it, that along with the statement that Mr. Bush is the most
